Rear Cross Sills

• 14 gage steel.
• Located below and parallel to the tailgate.  It mounts to the frame, wood, strips and bed sides. 
• 47-87 GM rear sill mounts to the frame and wood with the large "bed-to-frame" bolts, found in the complete bed bolt kit.  The bed-to-frame bolt goes through the wood, the rear sill bracket, and the frame.
• 67-72 GM steel floor rear sill bolts from one bed side to the other and is welded to the steel floor.
• 51-72 Ford Flareside rear sill has brackets riveted in place and holes for mounting strips and wood.  The bed-to-frame bolt passes through these brackets as it bolts the rear sill to the frame. The wood sits on top of the rear sill and is capped off with a bed wood sill to protect the edge of the wood (sold separately).
• 77-87 Ford Flareside rear sill requires wood blocks placed inside (sold seperately).
