|
All the parts necessary to make such a conversion are available from MAR-K Quality Parts including the front bed panel, rear cross sill, bed supporting cross sills, wood floor, and bed strips. Original inner fenders and bed sides can still be used. Hardwood floors and polished stainless bed strips with polished stainless hardware are available to put the finishing touch to a trophy winning bed.The original bed sides and inner fenders do not have to be modified. The steel floor with cross sills and the rear sill must be removed and replaced with new cross sills and rear sill made for a wood floor. Our set is not intended to be laid down over metal floor. Original steel floor front bed panels may be modified to permit installation of a wood bed floor. This requires cutting off the lower flange of the panel and welding on the "adapter flange". Installation instructions are included with adapter flange. Complete instructions are included with parts. To see a copy of these instructions, click here. They are for informational purposes only and cannot be altered or printed. Printed instructions are included when you order your kit. Please let us know that you are doing a steel floor to wood bed conversion. |
