JOB DESCRIPTION for Office Positions
PHONE ORDERS Talking with customers on the phone and taking their order.
CUSTOMER SERVICE Helping customers select products for their order and answering their questions about the product line or their order.
ORDER PROCESSING Entering orders into the computer accounting system.
INVOICE PRINTING Printing invoices and paperwork when orders are shipped.
WORD PROCESSING Typing new documents and making changes to existing documents. These may include forms, lists, charts, letters, and catalog information.
WORKING CLOSELY WITH SHIPPING DEPARTMENT Doing research to find answers to shipping department questions about the orders or customers.
GENERAL COMPUTER WORK AND DATA ENTRY Requires use of RealWorld Classic, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Dbase, and PageMaker.
GENERAL OFFICE DUTIES Filing, Faxing, and copying.
