Jim Lehman, of Avondale, AZ writes" These are pictures attached of my "almost done" '49 5 window pickup. It is an early 49 that I've restored with the help of Mar-K bed products. I started in October of 2009. The color is salsa red with ivory pinstriping and a graphite/black interior. The engine is a 235 "In Heat" with a 3/4 Howard cam, dual Rochesters and cast iron Fenton dual exhaust. I've tried to keep it close to a period correct build with a few amenities that make sense if you're driving in Arizona, like air conditioning!
