1960 Chevy Apache 10

Dennis Krawchuk
From Algonquin IL
"This is my 1960 Chevy Apache 10, short bed, fleetside, chopped top 4", Dana 60 rear end narrowed 13" rear tires are M/T Sportsman 21x33x15, centerline wheels, small block Chevy motor bored and stroked to 383 cu. in. with a turbo 400 trans with a manual shift kit behind it, full roll cage, red oak bed with a hand rubber oil finish (no varnish or urethane), shaved door handles and all body seams welded and filled.

Yes the oak bed is yours along with the hidden attachment bed rails. I bought the stock size bed for the truck and had to cut and fit all of it. Looks really nice with the hand rubbed oil finish. The first year I drove it the bed was urethaned and began turning yellow, so the next winter I removed the entire bed stripped it and began the first steps to hand rubbed oil finish. Was a tremendous amount of work, but well worth it. I have seen so many wood beds done with urethane or varnish that are peeling and look horrible."
