Michael Gray, of Searcy, AR emailed us pictures of this truck. He put a 60-66 Long Stepside Bed on his 1980 Long Fleetside truck.
He writes, “I did job in about two days. Using the original sills, the bed looked like I could have mounted it straight on but the filler neck on my replacement gas tank was too high. I had to raise the bed a few inches before I could mount it. I used cedar for the bed floor. The strips and angles are Mar-K. Except for the amateur paint job, I think it looks pretty good.”
