I have just finished restoring my 1953 GMC 1/2 ton, short bed pickup with the help of Mar-K.

Red Oak Wood (66 Chevy Shortbed fleetside) -

Received a few weeks ago. Very well packaged. GREAT looking grain. No warped boards. Very nice wood. I dyed mine black, resanded, then stained with ebony. Then clearcoated with satin clear.

Bed strips (Hidden bolts-Unpainted)

Very nice innovative idea. Gives a nice neat appearance. I painted my strips on the backside, masked them up. Then did the topside. Go easy on the paint on the underside as the fasteners have to slide in the track. Nice straight strips. Very well packaged for shipping.  Also got a glimpse of the polished stainless. Looks like chrome!!!

I was nervous about getting these but they ended up being a perfect fit. Very heavy gauge. Welding is involved, but with the perfect fit, it made the job easier. I ended up only using the rear.

Polished alum trim

I had my originals straightened, the clear removed, and then polished. I spent an arm and a leg on doing this and they were fairly straight. I thought the repops were chromed, but after ordering one molding from Mar-K just to check it out, they are EXCELLENT! Nice straight trim. I ordered a couple other moldings, and they were straight as well. Unsure yet if they are clearcoated like the factory.

Service

The service has been excellent throughout my 5 or so transactions. Only had a couple very small glitches in which Vickie called and handled the problem promptly. All shipments were very well packaged.  I'll definitely recommend Mar-K as a company with great products and customer service!

I want to thank you for showing the back inside box of my 1925 Ford TT Delivery Street Rod ( picture #4) on the back page of your latest catalog. Totally unexpected!  She is a fun hauler, head turner. Did an easy MAR-K floor installation and complimented it with side and ceiling wood panels. She has a GM Crate 383 Stroker engine running a 700R4 Trans connected to a Winters Performance rear running 373 gears and Dutchman axels.

(Here are) a few photos of my 1946 Ford pickup.  Since it originally had a steel floor the bed strips were custom punched, they fit perfect. The wood is Red Oak with a natural finish.

Back in 1970 I was in basic training. We had a fella from Tulsa that just raved about Oklahoma. Friendliest guy I ever met. Being a Michigan boy, he was the only Okie I knew of. I used bed fender wells, bed wood kit, all cross sills, front bed panel and rails. I have nothing but great things to say about the fit and support your company gave me.

The second truck is my 1955 Chevy 2nd series long bed. I purchase almost every piece of the bed from you to include, both bed side custom, tailgate custom, front bed panel, all cross sills, polished stainless rails and bolt, and a bed wood kit. I've been doing the ground work for the restoration  on my 55 F100 and was fortunate enough to be able to  stop in to MAR-K for a quick tour. Though it was a little crazy to get there (thanks to the construction and the tucked away location) it was definitely worth the trip- I found your staff really friendly, knowledgeable & they answered ALL my questions (plus). It's nice to see people who believe in what they do-I WILL be back!

The only thing I would recommend about demonstrating your products would be to maybe do a cut away and show other styles to show the quality of parts you have.

Just wanted to a take a second to say how pleased I am with Mar-K….In my build I have had many challenges with vendors, low quality parts and rude customer service reps….However, I have experienced none of that with your company, your company has been first class all the way!

I did a wood bed conversion on my 1970 Chevy 4x4 (LWB) and this kit fit so well, it was scary!......I opted for the hidden bolt bed strips….and glad I did…Because it actually saved time and looks a lot better in my biased opinion.
